5 Days/ 4 Nights
9am: Quito hotel pick up – Descend down into the cloud forest from the Andes. Stop at the Inti Ñan Solar Museum.
Arrive at Casa Divina Lodge. Check in and in-house lunch.
2pm: You will meet your guide after lunch and head down to a hands-on tour at a local artisan chocolate factory, followed by a visit to nearby feeders for some hummingbird and tanager observation.
Dinner and lodging at Casa Divina Lodge.
6-8am: Optional early morning birdwatching on the observation deck. Breakfast at Casa Divina.
Continue on to the Río Bravo Reserve and Waterfall hike. Swimming, hiking and photo opportunities.
Walking through the cloud forest there are many opportunities to see tropical orchids and birds in their natural habitat.

Afternoon arrival at Casa Divina Lodge. Dinner and Lodging at Casa Divina Lodge.
Breakfast at Casa Divina Lodge followed by a short walk to the Cloud Forest Chair Lift. See the cloud forest canopy from above while riding in a chair lift that will take you to the Cable Car & Waterfall Sanctuary Reserve. Picnic Lunch included. Hiking, swimming and photography opportunities.

Free Afternoon in the town of Mindo or down time at the lodge.
Dinner and lodging at Casa Divina Lodge.
Breakfast at Casa Divina Lodge followed by a walk along the Mindo River to Mariposas de Mindo Butterfly Farm. Continue on to the refreshing and exciting activity of tubing down the Mindo River. A great way to see the riparian zone!

2pm: Transportation to Yunguilla Community about 1 hour from Mindo.
Arriva at Yunguilla with a welcome session that introduces the community’s different projects and organizations. Tonight’s accommodations are in the homes of the local families who are motivated to share their community life-style and receive guests with open arms.
Dinner and lodging with host family.
(Optional cow-milking activity with host family before breakfast.)
Traditional breakfast with homestay family followed by a hike on the culuncos trail (ancient trails used historically for trade and presently for tourism).
Lunch prepared with local foods at Tahuallullo community-owned farm. Followed by a tour of the small artisan jam, dairy and handicrafts factories. Last stop is at the community store where all the artisan products are available to the public.
After a last walk through the community it is time to say goodbye to beautiful Yunguilla and the homestay family.

To confirm your tour a 50% deposit is required. The balance payment is due at least 8 days before your arrival.
Cancelations made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, qualify for a 50% refund of the deposit. Cancelations made less than 30 days before scheduled arrival date do not qualify for a refund but may apply the total deposit to a future reservation of equal or higher value redeemable within one calendar year. Cancelations made less than 8 days before the scheduled date of arrival do not qualify for a refund and 50% of the total payment may be applied to a future tour of equal or higher value within one calendar year.
